Gormanston
The 2019 annual Summer Course at Gormanston College, Co Meath promises to be another exciting week in the calendar of Irish Beekeeping. In addition to the Beginners, Intermediate, Senior and workshops levels we are planning to introduce an Apitherapy level. Our guest speaker is David Tarpy a Professor of Entomology and the Extension Apiculturist at North Carolina State University

SICAMM Conference
The survival of the native honey bee of northern Europe, Apis mellifera mellifera, L. is now seriously threatened throughout its natural range. SICAMM is an international union of beekeepers, regional and national associations, institutions and other groups that support a set of agreed objectives concerning conservation of this threatened subspecies.
